Scope and objective of this WG

The highlights words show suitable topics for research tasks that can contribute to increase the effectiveness and improve the economic results for the future fishing fleets.

Exploitation of research results are only possible when the ship owners are economically capable to invest in new technology. Therefore the framework conditions from the authorities have to be implemented as a basic fundament for effective exploitation of research results.

The framework conditions should include policy instruments for structuring the fleets for instance by a mix of realizable quotas and condemning subsidies.
